It's all covered.īioshock 2's level design was sorts all over the place. Each level served a purpose to the possibility of an underwater city, their food supply, air, energy, entertainment, health. It felt like a lot of levels there for level sakeīioshock's level design was made to expand the story as well as develop the feasibility of Rapture. But the level design didn't feel as inspired. I know that sounds crazy but you know the feeling you get when you know the creators really put time and effort into every detail? I just felt that this game lacked a lot of that, Delta and Elenor's relationship is touching as well as the Father looking for his lost daughter. I will say I am a HUGE fan of Bioshock and Infinite, I was still fairly young when I played the first one and I loved it and it's story, I been meaning to go back and play 2 since I figure I should give it another fair shake but from what I remember there wasn't as much of soul put into it. The majority of positives I hear about 2 are only about being a big daddy and gameplay and for me personally those two things alone do not a good game make. Plus the fact that the Alpha big daddy's aren't even in 1 (though I'm not about to get into any sort of canon debate, to each their own) kinda ruins it for me. Then you get the "super person infused with ADAM" thing and it just loses me. Probably keeps em (slightly) more sane being together and working for a common goal. These people are trapped in an underwater tomb, good for her for bringing everyone together. With Lamb, for whatever reason I actually agree with her "rapture family" schtick. So here I am "yeah, everybody for themselves, screw the losers who fall behind!" But then I see what kind of ramifications this ideal has and it makes me feel. His charisma and passion were electrifying and you were pulled into his world. To better showcase some of the best and coolest plasmids available in Bioshock, the following list has been updated and includes even more entries for the series.Personally I didn't feel the story was that great. Players will get their hands on some truly entertaining weapons, along with some unique abilities in Plasmids and Vigors. With talk of Bioshock 4 showing itself on the horizon, now is a perfect time to hop into the series and visit the worlds of Rapture and Columbia. Updated June 28th, 2022 by Russ Boswell: The Bioshock franchise is a must-play for first-person shooter fans, and easily one of the best AAA series to grace store shelves in the last decade. News of a new BioShock in the works has gamers very excited, so why not take a look at some of the great plasmids introduced in the first three games. Something common between all of these titles is the ability to use different powers or Plasmids which they are referred to as in-game. Two more games have been released since the original, with BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite continuing the franchise forward over the years. The underwater world of Rapture that 2K Boston and 2K Australia created for players to explore is still to this day one of the best and most unique in gaming. Gamers were immediately enthralled by the world of BioShockwhen the first game of the franchise was released in 2007.
